Hitchhiker's Guide to the Festival, Volume 4

If you're in or around Stratford for the next little while, feel free to drop into the Stratford Public Library for (almost free) discussions about some of the plays on stage this season at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. It's an informal atmosphere, and the stories, characters, speeches and production histories are discussed. Plus there's film clips.  Tuesday afternoons, 2pm; $1.

April 19 - Twelfth Night (oops you missed it)
April 26 - Titus Andonicus (Shakespeare's Quentin Tarantino play)
May 3 - The Merry Wives of Windsor (or: how witty women persuaded a grown man to wear horns on his head)
May 10 - Richard III ("My kingdom for a horse!")
May 17 - The Misanthrope (Moliere - France's answer to Dr. Suess's rhyming couplets)
